Ultrasone PRO 580I Overview
The PRO 580i was developed based on the HFI 580 headphones and offers a robust bass reproduction. These headphones have a 50mm Mylar membrane that is suitable for enjoying music styles with a powerful bass representation. From club and dance productions, to various forms of electronic music, to massive hip-hop beats, the PRO 580i sets the scene for even the deepest 909 kicks. The closed design helps eliminate background noise.
The headphones’ enhanced padding keeps you comfortable, even when worn for extended periods of time. By choosing between two different ear cushions, you can also decide for yourself whether you prefer to treat your ears with artificial leather or velour.
The frequency range of the PRO 580i is wider than what people can hear with their ears. In the bass range, the headphones deliver an octave lower than the lowest audible frequency. This ensures that all frequencies in the audible range are also reproduced by the headphones and that everything will be presented accurately and clearly.
This technology combines precision dampening with micro-acoustic reinforcement, allowing driver, buffer-board, and spatial parameters to complement one another in an optimal manner. The redesigned earcups of the headphones and their tonal fine-tuning result in a neutral sound impression with more vivid perception of voices and instruments.
