The LCT 550 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone from Lewitt offers 0 dB of self noise for quiet operation in tracking a variety of sound sources. The microphone has a cardioid polar pattern and features 3 levels of selectable pre-attenuation: 0, 6, or 12 dB. Additionally, the mic has a selectable high-pass filter at either 80 or 160 Hz to eliminate low-noise and rumble. The LCT 550’s front panel is illuminated, allowing you to easily select your pad and filter in dark environments. The microphone includes a black carrying case, shockmount, windshield, and artificial leather bag.
0 dB-A self-noise from electronics and circuitry
Precise calibration of the capsule and the electronics allowing any two microphones from this series, set identically, to form a matched pair at +/- 0 dB
1.0″ dual system externally biased capsule with an active front and thin, gold-layered low mass diaphragm for transient response
Tailored frequency response for use on stage or in the studio
Cardioid polar pattern for effective isolation of the main sound source
Noiseless push buttons for attenuation and HPF selection
Max SPL of 143 dB for a total dynamic range of 140 dB
3-position switchable pre-attenuation pad (0 dB, 6 dB, and 12 dB) for handling high sound pressure levels, and a 3-position high-pass filter
Illuminated user interface for handling in dark environments
Clipping history, automatic attenuation, and key-lock provide error-free recording and unparalleled ease of use
Gold-plated 3-pin XLR output connector
Transformerless preamplifier circuitry minimizes electromagnetic interference
Hexagonal ruthenium-galvanized steel-mesh grille provides an open acoustic environment and prevents unwanted internal reflections
Includes black carrying case, shockmount, windshield, and artificial leather bag
